Positive and negative?

I do not understand the logic behind the "positive" and "negative" LRT. RS is usually considered as a must and thus logically should be placed under positive, and GR follows the same but opposed logic... Etc. Any insight? --Eagle of Fire 09:36, 7 February 2009 (NZDT)

They're grouped by the points they cost(positive) or give you(negative)..the labels are largely historic the negative LRTs were originally perceived as penalties you took to get more points. Tho clearly OBRM and RS are advantages in the right circumstances - if you look through the freestars threads at HWF you'll see people advocating for the separation of the OBRM's 10% bonus from it's no remote penalty. Ultimately its just because the perceived "optimum" strategies when the points were chosen were different armor is king, remote mining is clearly a space activity. Gible 10:49, 7 February 2009 (NZDT)
