Further explaining battle move speed taking 1.25 and 2.25 (2,1,2,1 and 3,2,2,2 respectively), the lighter ship of the two will move 1 square, followed by the heavier ship moving 1 square (this is in round 1). As the ships still have movement points left (1 and 2 respectively), the ships will again move 1 square each (round 1 again). As the ships now have 0 and 1 movement left, the ship with 0 moves will not move, even if it's a lighter ship, while the other ship will move it's final move in round 1.

Movement speed and moves per round

Ship move speed and the movement for the 1st 4 rounds. After that, the cycle repeats (i.e Round 5 will be equal to round 1's stated move speed).
