EACvsIRC

This large scale duel was the result of a challenge at HWF by a team of players who worked(and played) together at Electronic Arts in Canada. The opposing team which took the challenge was composed of players from the #stars IRC channel at starlink.org. The EA team conceded defeat in 2457. EACvsIRC thread in the bar at HWF.

EACvsIRC was a landmark game for large-scale team cooperation and resulted in the development of several tools for aiding teamwork including LEit's Combine.exe for combining the information from .pxx file and OWK's TT8v2 speadsheet for calculating terraforming values and "best race" to colonize a given planet.
