Étoiles is a client for FreeStars, the Stars! game clone. It is written in Java and needs a Java 6 (or greater). Étoiles is launched via WebStart(you just have to click on the link from the page to start the latest version). The first version (0.1) contained only the technology browser. The current version now looks more like the original Stars!, but is not yet complete.
Étoiles uses ForceUser's FreeStars graphics.

Right: Etoiles dialog box allowing editing of a ship or base design. Select a component on the left. Left-click on a slot to add the component. Right-click on a slot to remove a component. Much of the information is not yet correct. Among them, all components are presented, not only those available, and miniaturisation is not taken into account.
