The scout hull is the cheapest and simplest hull available in the whole game. Because of the low resource and mineral requirement as well as its general purpose slot, the scout hull is used for a myriad of different applications for the full course of the game.
Primarily used as scouts in the very early game, the scout hull is also later on prized as chaff and technology vessel for trade exchange.
The scout hull is so often used in the course of a whole game that every veteran immediately recognize the four iterations of its iconic image.
