Finding Games

The best place to find games is the New Game Announcements section of Home World Forum.

You can sometimes convince people to play Blitz games at the ##stars IRC channel on the Freenode network or via the qwebirc embedded client here at Stars!wiki.

Other places to find game announcements:

• rec.games.comp.stars newsgroup (or at Google groups)

  The last game announcement there was in 2009 and even then most games announced there were primarily listed elsewhere first.

• Glen Hibbard's (AKA Mr Stars!) "the list"

  Last maintained by donjon, an e-mail mailing list detailing all the new PBEMs that where posted to the NG during the day or sent to him direct. Send an e-mail to stars-sn-games-subscribe@yahoogroups.com to subscribe. (no activity since 2005)
